In steadfast alignment with our previously stated positions and our unwavering commitment to providing humanitarian aid to those in need across Sudan, we hereby reaffirm our readiness to facilitate the continued passage of aid convoys through the Daba crossing. The arrival of our delegation in Geneva is driven by our ethical, legal, and humanitarian duties to the people of Sudan, free from any pursuit of political gains.

The RSF remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring the safe passage and protection of humanitarian convoys, in strict adherence to international humanitarian law. We extend our gratitude to the international community and the United Nations for their efforts in addressing the crisis in Sudan and providing urgent humanitarian assistance to the Sudanese people.

We welcome all international initiatives aimed at delivering humanitarian aid to Sudanese citizens, including through the Adre crossing, which has been under our control since the conflict began. These efforts are coordinated with the Sudanese Relief and Humanitarian Operations Agency (SARHO). We emphasize our cooperation with organizations and entities dedicated to providing relief to those in need, and we pledge to ensure the safety of humanitarian aid personnel.

Our willingness to coordinate with UN agencies, as well as other international and national organizations, remains strong, as we work collectively to alleviate the suffering of Sudanese civilians. We caution against any attempts to exploit our humanitarian commitments for political purposes or war-related objectives.

The Adre border crossing, situated entirely within areas under our control, will remain a crucial conduit for delivering humanitarian aid to the people. Any decrees issued by Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan and his terrorist faction concerning crossings beyond their jurisdiction are inconsequential. Their actions have inflicted severe harm upon the Sudanese people and have included political punishment through starvation. Consequently, any statements they make regarding crossings outside their control are devoid of significance.

We reaffirm our commitment to cooperating with the UN and all humanitarian relief agencies based on clear and transparent principles. We will not permit the areas under our control to be exploited for political agendas or to obscure the refusal of Burhan and his extremist cronies from the former regime to engage in negotiations in Geneva under the pretense of civilian protection.

Our unwavering dedication is to end this conflict as swiftly as possible in the best interests of the people and to lay the foundation for a renewed Sudanese state built upon the principles of democracy, justice, and equality.
